New Improved Household Waste Recycling Centres
Not only have Calderdale improved recycling collections from your doorstep, we're also making our Household Waste Recycling Centres better. More than 60% of the waste that your bring to the centres can be recycled.
We've already refurbished the Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) at Brighouse and Elland to make them easier to use, and we'll be improving the Todmorden and Halifax Centres soon.
REMEMBER: Household Waste Recycling Centres are designed to make recycling simple, with seperate skips for different materials. If you separate your waste before you come, you'll find it much easier. That's more recycling, and less to landfill.
