IMPORTANT NOTICE - waste and recycling collections resume

IMPORTANT NOTICE

As planned, SITA have started their scheduled collections for this week.

Those customers who are not due a waste collection this week will have a collection next week, weather permitting. Please refer to your calendar if in any doubt.

• All recycling materials presented will be removed and recycled irrelevant of what week it is.
• Refuse collection crews will remove all excess bagged and boxed waste presented until such time as the back log is clear.

 

This is a rolling programme: if scheduled work is not completed by the end of the day, that work will recommence on the following day. The following day's collection schedule will not be started until the previous one is completed.

Using additional resources and working Saturday 23rd and 30th January 2010, the current situation should be resolved.
